I always loved those old barber shops, the wall decorations, the old wooden floor and sink, the huge leather chair etc.. Although I don't get much chance to been inside, as a girl I usually have to go to those beauty hair salon. This Halloween theme illustration idea with a barber shop came to me from nowhere ,but turns out it kind of cool!

The summer in England has almost gone, it was a good summer though, hot and sunny most of the time. Now comes the next thing to looking forward to : 120 days away from Christmas!
Cross road
I once had a terrifying dream.
In the dream there was a old black man standing outside my house, he was wearing a brown coat and a hat, holding a old guitar, playing and humming some strange blues melody while staring at me. No matter at which side of the house, whenever I looked outside of the window,he was always there, humming. And there were strange orange light shooting out of his eyes.
I guess dreams could be pretty dark sometimes. This one particularly, left me a very strong impression...And there that's not where it ends. One year later I accidentally found out about the legend which Robert Johnson exchanged his soul with the devil for the blue skills at the Mississippi cross road. I know it was just some urban myth, but still the chill went through my body like a electric shock.
So I drew a painting about that experience. However by the time I finished it had become something quite different from my original idea. Nevertheless, I am still pleased with it.
Pet Tipi tent Illustration tutorial
Recently I made a Tipi tent for my cat. Originally I was thinking to make a real size one for myself as it was always one of my childhood dream, unfortunately I don't think there is any space left in the house, maybe in the future. Anyhow although this is a miniature version Tipi I still enjoyed the whole building process enormously and today I decided to drew an illustration tutorial for whoever would also like to give a try!
